Have an on-campus emergency? There’s an app for that!
Do you know what to do when there’s an on-campus emergency? Do you know how to proceed if someone falls or has a seizure? Do you know the go-to numbers to deal with everything from a pedestrian accident to a fire to a serious fall?
You do now. The Office of Emergency Management and the Department of Public Safety have developed “In Case of Crisis,” a new app for smartphone users. The free app provides a quick reference guide with valuable information, phone numbers and procedures, as well as emergency instruction guides during a time of crisis.
After clicking onto the app, click the “+” sign in the upper right corner to add the plan and then search for “Rowan.” Then select “Rowan Crisis Information” and begin the download.
Or, simply point your device's scanning software at the QR code below and you will be taken to your download source!
For more information, contact Peter Amico, Director of the Office of Emergency Management, at x4955, or firstname.lastname@example.org.
