The detective bureau consists of two detectives, a sergeant and one lieutenant. A detective is on call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week in the event a major crime occurs on campus. The detectives conduct follow up investigations in an effort to detect and apprehend criminal offenders. In addition to their investigative duties, detectives maintain property and evidence, monitor the crime tip hotline, and provide information of the many resources offered by Rowan University. Detectives are trained in many areas such as Bias Crime Investigation, Crime Scene processing and Management, County Intelligence Sharing, Gang Awareness, and Narcotics Investigations & Identification. The Rowan University detectives are dedicated to the well being of the Rowan community.
