Police

Rowan University has it's own police department. At the present time it consists of one lieutenant, five sergeants and 17 patrolmen. Our police officers will handle all criminal violations that occur on Rowan University property as well as assist any local or state agency that request assistance from our department.

Rowan police officers have full police authority. Their authority is state-wide. Rowan police officers attend the same police academy, receive the same training and complete the same annual updates as their municipal counterparts.

Our police officers make presentations on crime prevention, drug and alcohol awareness, Rape Aggression Defense (RAD),and domestic violence. The officers also make themselves available for student criminal justice concerns.

Anyone wishing to provide assistance in an investigation should call Lt. John Malinski at 856-256-4564.
