Congratulations! This six-week summer orientation is a rigorous academic program which will provide you with college survival skills, leadership skills, academic support and the necessary tools to help you make the most of your educational opportunity. As an EOF/MAP student you will gain valuable academic and social skills while building a community of support with faculty, staff and other students, in and out of the classroom. The PCI program is designed to help you adjust to college life and the challenges of college-level study. The program includes coursework, structured study, campus orientation and social activities. As a PCI student, you will also get an advanced opportunity to live on campus, learn about campus-wide student clubs, organizations and activities available at Rowan. By the fall semester, you will have a head start on life as a Rowan University student, both academically and socially. At the conclusion of PCI, your academic and residential performance will be evaluated by EOF/MAP staff members to determine matriculation to the fall semester as a Rowan University student. As a Rowan University EOF/MAP student, you will have access to a support system that is specifically tailored to your needs, such as intensive counseling, academic coaching, mentoring, tutoring and workshops. The EOF/MAP program support has been a critical part of the formula to success-leading to graduation! We are looking forward to a fruitful and productive summer and successful academic year.
