Scholarships

NJ State NAACP Scholarship

The New Jersey State Conference of the NAACP is offering scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students for the 2012-2013 academic year.

Criteria

  • Must be a matriculated full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
  • A minority US citizen entering college for the 2012-2013 academic year.
  • Must be a New Jersey resident.
  • Minimum GPA: undergraduates - 2.8; graduates - 3.0. Must include transcript.
  • Should be active in the community.
  • Must submit a one page eassy on "What the NAACP Means to Me".
  • 3 letters of recommendation: one from a teacher, one from a counselor, and one from a community, civic, or church leader.
