Alpha Phi Omega - Alpha Phi Omega is a national, co-ed service fraternity that has set the standard for college campus-based volunteerism since 1925. APO strives to promote leadership, friendship, and service. The Rowan Nu Theta chapter is very active in service activities in the local community. Circle K - Circle K is a co-educational service, leadership development, and friendship organization, organized and sponsored by a Kiwanis club. Rowan has a very strong chapter and their meetings are typically held on Monday nights with service projects scheduled at various times throughout the month. Jaime Picchi is the 2007-2008 president. Habitat for Humanity - The Rowan Habitat for Humanity Club is affiliated with the international nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world, and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need. The Rowan chapter works with Gloucester County Habitat on assisting with various projects at their build site on Filbert Street in Clayton as well as their new store in Pitman. Colleges Against Cancer - CAC is a new, petitioning student organization dedicated to raising awareness on campus about cancer. They are affiliated with the American Cancer Society. They run numerous events on campus culminated in the annual event, Relay for Life. Kelsey Hegel is the 2007-2008 president. If interested in joining, please email her.
