This weekly group is for any students who feel stressed or anxious about college. This is a non-clinical group for students to learn coping skills. All are welcome!
StudentCare Peer Education - Wednesdays at 4pm in the Wellness Center Training Room
Fridays, 11a-12p, Wellness Center Training Room
This weekly group is for new students at Rowan....whether you're a transfer, a freshman, or just looking to make some new choices in your life. Chat with Healthy Campus and student leaders to gain some insights to making friends, being successful in classes, dealing with homesickness, staying healthy, or any other issue college students deal with. We chill, we chat.
Fridays, 9am-11am, The Wellness Center Information Desk
Come check out Free Condom Friday, happening every Friday at the main information desk in the Wellness Center. No questions asked, just walk in, pick up your free condoms and cooresponding information and be on your way. There are no gimmicks here!
A green dot is any behavior‚ choice‚ word‚ or attitude that promotes safety for all our citizens and communicates utter intolerance for violence. A green dot is pulling a friend out of a high risk situation - a green dot is donating a few dollars to project horizon- a green dot is displaying an awareness poster in your room or office - a green dot is putting a green dot message on your facebook page - a green dot is striking up a conversation with a friend or family member about how much this issue matters to you. RU A Lifesaver
Funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration Garret Lee Smith Memorial Grant, RU a Lifesaver is a suicide prevention program that focuses on decreasing the stigma of seeking mental health services and increases help-seeking behavior.
