Service Learning, Volunteerism and Community Engagement
The Office of Service Learning, Volunteerism & Community Engagement provides programming, resources, and support to promote a Rowan community of active citizens. We work collaboratively with university faculty and community partners to design a range of curricular and co-curricular service-learning opportunities. Students who engage with service learning, volunteerism and community engagement at Rowan will reflect on meaningful volunteer experiences as they develop a lifelong commitment to their communities.

SGA & The SLVCE Office is co-sponsoring the "Back to the Boro" event to say thank you to the Glassboro Community for their unwavering support. Through this annual community wide clean up, students and faculty volunteer their time to visit Glassboro homes and help with household duties such as raking leaves, painting fences, pulling weeds or other tasks that are difficult to do alone. If you are interested in helping with this event you must register with SGA.
If you are a Glassboro Business/Homeowner and would like some assistance with any household project, please see the attached flyer and Job Request Form.
