Gloucester County March for Babies Walk: April 28,2012 - Rowan University Campus
This walk raises money for treatment of premature births. Rowan students volunteered in many ways, from working in the registration/food table areas, cooking 1000 hotdogs, face painting tables, as well as manning the check-points.
Thank you to Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity,Chi Upsilon Sigma Sorority and the RU Athletic Trainers for all their dedication and assistance before, during and after the walk. $264.00 were raised by student groups hosting fundraising (coin drop)tables and by selling March for Babies footprints - Chi Upsilon Sigma Sorority, The RU Paint Ball Club, Sigma Pi Fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority The RU MIS Club, Psi Sigma Phi, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, The Veterans Student Organization and the RU Amine Club.
Clean and Green: April 2012
Students cleaned all areas thoughout campus, planted bulbs and Magnolia trees bu the dorms.
Alternative Spring Break Trip: March 2010
Students participated in an Arts & Medicine program at Shands Healthcare in Gainsville, Florida.
Carolina Tiger Rescue in Pittsboro, North Carolina
Students volunteered in areas of D.C. doing painting, and park restorations with the Morris Cafritz Center for Community Service in Washington, D.C.
