Rowan Relief

The Rowan University Office of Service-Learning, Volunteerism & Community Engagement (SLVCE) has been in communication with the New Jersey Governor’s Office of Volunteerism. The current need along shore points and hurricane-affected areas is for donation contributions and skilled volunteers. The Governor’s Office has an established hotline service for interested volunteers, and the Rowan SLVCE office will remain in constant contact with this hotline. As soon as a call for unskilled direct volunteers is issued, the Rowan SLVCE office will be coordinating day-long, weekend and week-long volunteer opportunities. The SLVCE office will provide transportation and supplies for these future projects. Please continue to check the Rowan Relief website for continual updates.

Related efforts for donation collections and distribution are currently being organized. For an updated list, please visit the Relief Efforts page. If you are interested in being a Volunteer Group Leader, please contact the SLVCE office at for more information and training.
