About information Resources

Information Resources (IR) is responsible for ALL technology services available on both the Glassboro and Camden campuses of Rowan University. This consists of networking, email systems, telephones, web servers, computer labs, technology enhanced classrooms (TEC), Web for Students, Blackboard-CE (formerly WebCT) and the list goes on.

Contact the Support Desk

The Information Resources Support Desk, a unit of Network and Systems Services, is responsible for assisting students, faculty and staff with computer and telecommunication issues. The main objective of the Support Desk is to troubleshoot computer software and hardware, email, printing, access to network drives, network passwords, Alpha administrative passwords and all aspects telecommunications.

The Support Desk policy is to support on-campus software and hardware issued and installed by Network and System Services technicians. Technical support is also available for connecting your home computer to the Rowan network. We provide various services that include connecting to the University's free Internet services, off campus access to email, library electronic databases and Rowan network drives.

The Workshop is where faculty and students can bring equipment to be set up or repaired on a first-come, first-serve basis. Shop hours are posted by semester according to the schedule of the student staff. The Workshop is located on the first floor of Memorial Hall in the same wing of the building as the Support Desk. The phone number is 856. 256.4500, extension 3005.
