Professor Dianne C. Ashton, Ph.D. Religion Studies, Temple University, Philadelphia. 

Ashton's areas of scholarly research include American Judaism, and women and Judaism. Her book publications include Rebecca Gratz: Women and Judaism in Antebellum America (Wayne State University Press,1998); Jewish Life in Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Historical Association, 1998); and Four Centuries of Jewish Women's Spirituality (Beacon Press, 1992), co-edited with Ellen Umansky.  At Rowan, Professor Ashton coordinates the interdisciplinary program in Liberal Studies, and is director of advising for the American Studies specialization within Liberal Studies.  You can visit the homepage for American Studies.  Ashton teaches the Senior Seminar in American Studies as well as a variety of other courses within Religion Studies. Associate Professor David Clowney, Ph.D. Philosophy, Temple University, Philadelphia. 

When not playing blues and Jazz harmonica, Clowney teaches and does scholarly research in the areas of ethics (including environmental and business ethics), aesthetics, philosophy of religion, and logic. Professor Emeritus, Jim Grace, Ph.D. Religion Studies, Temple University, Philadelphia. 

Grace's areas of scholary research and teaching include the sociology of religion, with a focus on New Testament and other early Christian writings. Assistant Professor Matthew D. Lund, Ph.D. Philosophy, University of Illinois at Chicago, Chicago.

Lund's areas of scholarly research include Philosophy of Science, Epistemology, and the Philosophy of Psychology/Cognitive Science. He also has interest in the History of Science, the Philosophy of Art and Literature, and Nietzsche. At Rowan he teaches Philosophy of Science, Symbolic Logic, Introduction to Philosophy, and American Philosophy. He has also taught Moral Philosophy and Philosophy of Art in the past. Associate Professor Ellen Miller, Ph.D.
Philosophy, York University, Toronto.

Miller’s areas of scholarly research include Philosophy of Art, Continental Philosophy, Feminist Theory (especially Feminist Ethics and Philosophy of Religion) and Ethics. Visiting Assistant Professor Joshua Delpech-Ramey, Ph.D. Philosophy, Villanova University. 

Joshua Delpech-Ramey works in aesthetics, history of philosophy, and contemporary continental philosophy. Recent research has included the horror stories of HP Lovecraft, Andy Warhol’s materialism, and the heretical theology of Giordano Bruno. His book on Gilles Deleuze and the hermetic tradition is forthcoming from Duke University Press.

Associate Professor, Charlie (Youru) Wang, Ph.D. Religion Studies,Temple University, Philadelphia.

Dr. Wang specializes in the study of Buddhism and has also done scholarly research in the areas of Chinese and Western aesthetics. He teaches courses in the area of World Religions, especially Asian religions and philosophies; he is also coordinator of the Asian Studies Program. The Department of Philosophy and Religion also employs a number of adjunct faculty on a temporary basis.  Ken Banner, Marie Dallam, Ro Ruffin, and Morris Zacher are the adjunct faculty members teaching courses in Religion.

Adjunct faculty teaching courses in Philosophy include Michael Dahnke, Serguie Denissov, Kenneth Howarth, Edward Kazarian, Christopher McCartney, Bob Fleeger, and Charles Weidler.
