Every ten years Rowan University is asked to examine itself closely and thoughtfully and share the process and findings of this self-study with our accrediting agency, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The Middle States process is an important opportunity to see where we are and where we are going as an institution.
The Middle States Evaluation Team visited Rowan University on March 29 through April 1, 2009. They presented an oral report to the campus on Wednesday, April 1, followed by a written report submitted to the University in June. Links to the self-study and the visiting team’s written report appear below.
On June 25, 2009, the Middle States Commission on Higher Education acted to reaffirm the accreditation of Rowan University. Our next Middle States assessment will be via the Periodic Review Report that is due June 1, 2014.
