Certification Program Format

For a new certification program that is intended to be recognized by the New Jersey Board of Education, contact the Dean of Educaiton for certification format and a sample proposal.

All other new graduate level certification programs can use this format: Specialization, Concentration, Minor, or Achievement Certificate Proposal Format.

Graduate level certification programs can use this format: Specialization, Concentration, Minor, or Achievement Certificate Proposal Format.

Graduate level certification programs must include a letter or letters from the Graduate Council and Dean.

Separate proposals are also required for any new courses required by new programs: New Course Proposal Format.

The SCC can review new programs and new courses concuttently. Final approval of new programs is contingent upon approval of any new courses within the program.
