The Provost will either approve the Curriculum Proposals, or will state reasons for its unacceptability. Where applicable, a course number, student credit hours, faculty load hours and/or equalized credit hours will be assigned. The Provost together with the University President, assume the responsibility for recommending appropriate proposals to the Board of Trustees and/or to the President's Council.
The Registrar will collect new course Catalog Descriptions, and issue new course numbers.
The Sponsor(s) of a proposal, or any party who had a vested interest in a proposal which was approved or denied by a College Committee could appeal the decision at the Senate Curriculum Committee level. Such an appeal will have to be filed (in written form) within 20 days following the College Open Hearing when the proposal was considered.
