The Bachelor of Arts in Music is a liberal arts program with a heavy emphasis in music. It offers the opportunity to study music while looking toward a career outside of music performance or teaching. As a Music (BA) major you'll combine a broad academic background with sufficient musical training for further study in fields such as musicology, music criticism, music therapy, or other music-related careers.

Whatever your goal, you'll study music, and develop the skills of perception, interpretation, self-discipline, and creativity.
