If you are a talented singer seeking a career in music, Vocal Performance is the major for you. The vocal faculty is made up of experienced professionals who provide individual and group instruction in applied voice and vocal literature. As a voice student you'll work very hard at your craft. Rowan singers have taken themselves to Carnegie Hall three times; have performed at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, the Moscow Conservatory in Russia, and Walt Disney World. If you have the energy and the discipline, you can go anywhere you want to go.

As an Instrumental Performance major, you'll study privately with specialists on your instrument, take classes in chamber music, and encounter leading professionals in master classes. You'll gain exposure to all historical periods of music and styles and develop the skills needed as a professional performer and for a lifetime of music making.

Your senior year solo recital will give you the opportunity to demonstrate the technique, style and musical understanding your have perfected over your four years of study, setting the stage as you embark on your career as a professional performer.
