Psychology - Research and statistics; the brain, mind and behavior.

The Psychology program is designed to immerse students in the many and diverse fields within modern psychology. Students focus their study in areas such as developmental pyschology, experimental psychology, consumer psychology, abnormal psychology, forensic psychology and substance abuse/addiction studies.

Students gain hands-on experience through a required field service course and some choose to design and conduct their own research projects. Recently, students have worked at a local drug and alcohol treatment facility, a shelter for abused girls, an alternative high schoool and the human reseources department of the Philadelphia Zoo.
