Communication: Public Relations - An award-winning program

Rowan University has one of the largest, oldest and "winningest" public relations programs in the country. Classroom instruction often simulates real-world public relations challenges, as you'll get to work with real clients, participate in problem-solving competitions and make panel presentations.

The Public Relations Student Society of America [PRSSA] (The Anthony J. Fulginiti Chapter at Rowan University) consistently prevails as one of the best chapters in the country, competing against much larger colleges and universities such as Syracuse, Cornell and Ohio State. It has been named best chapter in the nation five times, more than any other chapter, and has won more than 200 national awards-more than any other of the 200+ chapters nationwide. Four Rowan students have served as president of the national PRSSA.

PRAction, Rowan's own student-run public relations firm, handles public relations for on-campus student services, non-profits, local government organizations, corporations and agencies.
