LIFE Lessons Essay Contest Sponsoring Company/Donor: Life and Health Insurance Foundation for Education
. Eligibility: The "LIFE Lessons" Essay Contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, who are between 17 and 24 years of age, have experienced the death of a parent or legal guardian, and are currently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a college, university or trade school within the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia.
How to Enter: Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on March 1, 2013 and 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2013 (the "Entry Period") to enter the contest, visit www.life-line.org/scholarship and complete and submit the online application form, including the essay of no more than 500 words describing how you have experienced the personal and financial challenges caused by the death of a parent or legal guardian. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on March 31, 2013. To receive an application form by mail, send an email to scholarship@lifefdn.org or call (202) 464-5000 x106.
