Office of Sponsored Programs
The Office of Proposal Development empowers Rowan researchers with access to an external funding opportunity database called the Sponsored Programs Information Network (SPIN). Regularly updated by dedicated staff at InfoEd International, SPIN provides faculty members the ability to search over 40,000 funding opportunities from multiple funders at any given time. SPIN also provides its users the capacity to curate searches based on their research discipline, and to receive those searches in a weekly email called SMARTS. In addition, SPIN makes its data exportable to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or Microsoft Word documents.
Beyond funding opportunity databases, the Office of Proposal Development offers a Microsoft Outlook calendar that includes specific funding opportunities of interest to Rowan researchers. This calendar provides researchers an easy way to manage timelines based on their various scheduling needs. To receive access to this constantly-updated online calendar, please email Stephen Robishaw, Proposal Development Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Limited Submission Opportunities
Limited submission opportunities are funding opportunities that place a limit on the number or types of applications Rowan can submit, either as a pre- or full proposal. Such restrictions are included in the grant announcement. Interested teams should notify the Office of Proposal Development prior to the internal deadline. If more teams are interested in submitting than permitted per the announcement, the Division of University Research will facilitate an internal competition to determine which proposal(s) move forward.
The list below is not exhaustive and will be updated frequently; please send other limited submission opportunities to email@example.com.
