International Student Services

Activities

In addition to activities scheduled or sponsored by the International Center, international students are encouraged to participate in the many student organizations and activities at Rowan University. A wide variety of programs are available, including trips, concerts, lectures, films, and athletic events.

University-supported student organizations can help students satisfy their cultural, educational, literary, musical, scientific, and professional interests. At Rowan, students have many opportunities to develop leadership skills. The Student Government Association (SGA) serves as the voice of the student body on the campus and at local and state levels.

The Chamberlain Student Center hosts events throughout the semester, through the Student University Programmers (SUP) and also as part of the Rowan After Hours series.

Athletics are an important part of life at Rowan. Intercollegiate and intramural athletics provide activity and recreation for students throughout the school year. The Rowan Athletics website has information about how to get involved in intercollegiate athletics. Men's sports include football, basketball, soccer, baseball, cross country, swimming and diving, and track and field. Women compete in basketball, cross country, field hockey, lacrosse, swimming and diving, softball, volleyball, soccer and track and field.
