Arrival at Rowan University
Representatives from the Office of International Student Services are available to assist international students in becoming vibrant contributors to the rowan campus community. The office is open from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, excepting observed holidays. From the time of your arrival until your departure from Rowan, we provide guidance and assistance in nearly every facet of your career here at Rowan.
All incoming international students are charged a one-time $100 International Student Fee. This fee covers the costs associated with the airport pickup service and housing starter kits provided to each student by the Office of International Student Services. The fee is included in the student's first bill from the University and does not need to be paid separately.
Airport Pickup and Move-In Information
Students arriving for their first semester at Rowan will be met at Philadelphia International Airport and transported to Rowan by Rapid Rover™ shuttle bus. To facilitate this service, the Office must ensure that incoming students arrive within a specific timeframe. Students will receive an Airport Pick-Up Reservation Form with their acceptance packet.
Students who schedule their arrival at Rowan outside of the University's scheduled move-in dates cannot be guaranteed housing. Students arriving before the move-in period are responsible for their own temporary accommodations. There are no temporary accommodations available at the University either before the move-in period begins, or after the scheduled move-out dates.
Upon arrival at Rowan, each student will be provided with a move-in kit including bed linens, (blanket, sheets, pillow and pillowcase, towel, etc.), and a lamp. Students in Triad Apartments will also reserve a kitchen starter kit, (pots, pans, flatware, cleaning supplies, and dishes).
