International Graduate Student Application Processs

 

Rowan University welcomes applications from graduate international students from around the world. The International Center (IC) provides guidance for students seeking F1 status. Our staff is available to assist admitted international students with obtaining the necessary documents for their visas and their entry to the US.

You must complete a two-part application process to apply to Rowan University. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Part 1 – Complete the Academic Application Requirements:

 

1. Academic Application (Includes $65 Application Fee & Personal Statement)

2. Two Letters of Recommendation

3. Current Professional Resume

4. Evaluation report of your high school transcript from an acceptable evaluation agency. Approved Foreign Credential Evaluation Agencies

Note: A "course by course" WES evaluation is needed for Graduate students.

5. Graduate-level standardized test scores (required for some applicants and type depends on your intended graduate program)

Note: Students that are not required to take a graduate-level standardized test for admission, will need to submit an TOEFL or IELTS scores.

There may be additional program-specific academic admission requirements. Please refer to the College of Graduate & Continuing Education website for more detailed information on the international graduate application process.

You may fill out the Online Graduate Academic Application or mail a completed Printed Graduate Academic Application to the College of Graduate & Continuing Education.

Part 2: Complete the I-20 Application

All F-1 applicants must complete an I-20 Application. We encourage you to begin the I-20 Application immediately after submitting the Academic Application. Upon academic acceptance, your I-20 application will be processed.

Approved Foreign Credential Evaluation Agencies

All foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a credential evaluation agency. Rowan University will accept transcript evaluations provided by World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), or Josef Silny & Associates. Please contact the approved credential evaluation agencies directly.
