Health Services Requirements for On-Campus Housing
Before incoming students can move into to their assigned housing and receive their keys, the following requirements must be met:
Immunization Requirements
Proof of immunization is required for accepted students. Details and forms will be provided to students upon admission to the university.
All students attending Rowan are required to complete the Health and Immunization forms found on the Health Center Website prior to their arrival at Rowan. If you do not complete these requirements, you will not be permitted to live on campus or begin classes.
The completed forms must be received no later than July 15 for Fall [September] students and December 1 for Spring [January] students.
You are strongly advised to complete all immunizations and tests in your home country. The Health Center can provide immunizations, but they are very expensive [$75- $100 each]. TB test must be completed and lab reports submitted before you come to the United States.
Important Information for Chinese Students
Health Insurance Requirements
All full time matriculated (F1 Visa Status) students will be automatically enrolled in the university’s student insurance plan.
J visa students cannot use the Rowan student insurance plan in place of insurance required for exchange visitors.
