Housing and Accommodations
NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO BEGIN SCHOOL WITHOUT CONFIRMED LIVING ACCOMODATIONS. THERE IS NO TEMPORARY HOUSING AVAILABLE ON CAMPUS. YOU MUST SUBMIT A CONTRACT FOR ON-CAMPUS HOUSING BY THE DEADLINE BELOW OR SHOW PROOF OF OFF-CAMPUS ACCOMODATIONS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL IN THE UNITED STATES.
All arrangements concerning housing and assignment of the University residence halls are made through the Office of Residential Learning and University Housing. International Student Services policy requires incoming undergraduate international students to live on campus unless they are married and living with a spouse, or have family who already reside in the Glassboro area. Students living on campus must sign a one-year housing contract. Students who live in residence halls without kitchen facilities must also purchase a meal plan. Visit their website for information regarding accommodations. Please read about student rights and responsibilities in the Residential Learning & University Housing Handbook.
First year students are housed in Mimosa Hall.
Upper level students are housed in Triad Apartments.
Class start and completion dates for each semester can be found on the Academic Calendar.
Housing Contracts
All students living on campus must submit a signed housing contract. The contract must be returned to Rowan by July 15 [Fall semester] or December 1 [Spring semester]. Students who do not submit contracts by these dates WILL NOT RECEIVE HOUSING.
This contract is a binding agreement for one full academic year [September- May]. Students will only be released from their contracts at the discretion of the Office of Residential Learning and University Housing.
