Banner 8.x Upgrade Information The Banner 8.X upgrade preparations are going well and as planned. System conversion is scheduled to begin November 25. Web transcripts will be unavailable effective the morning of November 25. In order to facilitate the processes required to perform the upgrade, Rowan University Banner systems will shutdown at 5pm on Wednesday, November 25 through Monday, November 30. During this shutdown, no one will have access to the production Banner processes.

25Live is a new web-based calendar, event and resource reservation system. Faculty, staff and students may use this resource to request rooms for meetings, events and other University-sponsored functions. Intersession is administered by the College of Professional & Continuing Education (CPCE) at Rowan University. Intersession 2010 will run from 12/21/09 to 01/18/10 and include the following two modules: - Three-week online: 12/29/09-01/18/10 - Two-week face-to-face: 01/04/10-01/15/10 Currently, the following three courses are scheduled to run during the two-week face-to-face module of Intersession 2010:: - Law for Accountants - Management Information Systems (MIS) - Operations Management These and possibly other Intersession courses will be available to view in Rowan’s Section Tally (www.rowan.edu/cpcecoursesearch) by November, 2009. To view, select term “Intersession 2010.” A Note about Intersession and Financial Aid During Intersession, all students who take a course, regardless of their status (full-time/part-time, matric/non-matric, undergrad/grad, in-state/out-of-state), are charged by the course, which is assigned a rate according to either the specific program in which it is housed (see CPCE cost Chart #1) or by course level and delivery-type (see CPCE cost Chart #2). Cost charts are available under “CPCE” on the Bursar’s website. While financial aid is not specifically available during summer and intersession, it may be possible (if proper and timely requests are made) for students to use any extra refund money or any unused loan eligibility during these terms.
