Intramural Sports
Congratulations to Ray Picone, Ed Dean and RJ Canning for receiving bids to officiate in the National Flag Football Championships in Tampa, FL December 28-30. This recognizes these officials as one of the top 50 in the country. Each are recognized for being All-Tournament Flag Football Officials. Ray Picone received his at the University of Maryland Regional Tournament. Ed and RJ received their bids and were recognized for being All-Tournament Flag Football Officials at the Cornell Northeast Regional Tournament. Last year Rowan sent Drew Carney and Chris Gottlick to the National Championships in Dallas, TX. Drew Carney received an award for being recognized as an All-American, which mean that he was one of the top 12 officials in the country.
Welcome to the Intramural Sports Program! You don’t have to be an athlete to play; these recreational activities are for everyone. We offer a variety of activities including individual sports, dual sports, and team sports for male, female, and co-rec participants. From sports such as flag football, basketball, volleyball and soccer to dodgeball, bowling, racquetball and golf, there is something for everyone! This participation allows for growth throughout the campus community as well as personal achievement.
