Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee

Rowan University's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) mission is to assure the safe and ethical treatment of animals in research. Federal and university regulations require that all research involving animals conducted by Rowan faculty, staff, and students be reviewed and approved by the IACUC before initiation. The Rowan IACUC is comprised of Rowan faculty, a certified veterinarian, as well as a community representative. Currently the IACUC meets on an "as needed" basis.
