Rowan to host 2nd wind and energy symposium for farmers

Rowan University will host its second “Wind and Energy Efficiency Symposium for the Farm” on Friday, February 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Rutgers EcoComplex, 1200 Florence-Columbus Road, Bordentown.

Funded in part by a grant from New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program, the event is open to farmers and the general public and will include sessions on Energy Efficiency, Energy Incentives and Rebates from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Small Wind and Geothermal as well as a question-and-answer session with an expert panel and vendor displays.

The cost is $15 and includes breakfast and lunch. Registration deadline is February 15, but there will be room for some walk-ins. To register, call (856) 256-5371 or email cleanenergy@rowan.edu.
