Proctors

SCPP members provide front-desk proctoring services every night from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. in Mimosa, Evergreen, Mullica and Triad Halls.

In addition, a proctor is stationed weeknights in Campbell Library, and weeknights and weekend afternoons in Rowan and Wilson Halls.

Safety and Security

Proctors ensure that only authorized persons are allowed in the resident halls and academic buildings.

Academic building proctors conduct regular checks of the building they are stationed in and report any problems to Public Safety.

Residence hall proctors ensure that only residents and authorized guests are permitted overnight in the residence halls.

Residence Halls

Residence Hall proctors check keys and verify identification to ensure that only residents and authorized guests are permitted in residence halls.

A maximum of two guests per resident are permitted in residence halls Sunday through Thursday until midnight and Friday and Saturday until 2:00 a.m. Guests must present valid photo identification to the proctor.

Overnight guests must fill out an overnight guest form. The form requires the consent of all roommates in the room the guest will be staying in. Upon completion of the form and presentation of valid photo identification, an overnight guest pass will be issued.

Child guests (guests under 18 years of age) are not permitted overnight in residence halls. Visitation for child guests is permitted Friday through Sunday until 2:00 a.m.

The student hosting the guest is accountable for registration and the actions of their guest(s) at all times while on the campus.
