At Rowan we are a community in every sense of the word.
We are a learning community engaged in collaborative projects ranging from life saving research to a common reading program. We are a team. Our Profs are championship winning NCAA Division III athletes and members of club sports such as Rugby and Ice Hockey. And when we’re not on the field or in the classroom, we are a service oriented community, participating in blood drives, food drives, coat drives, even house-building drives, literally building communities.
But our Prof pride doesn’t end there. We are extremely proud of our physical community. State of the art academic buildings and housing are simply the beginning of the what’s ahead of us just down the road. Rowan Boulevard, a $300 million project linking our main campus to Glassboro’s historic downtown, continues to grow.
On Rowan's Camden campus, our 40-year commitment to urban education is thriving. Cooper Medical School of Rowan University welcomed its inaugural class to our new medical community this past Fall and work is underway to renovate the historic First Camden National Trust Bank into the new academic home for Rowan's Camden Campus.
We aren’t any old community. We are Rowan and we look forward to welcoming new Prof’s to the neighborhood. Learn more about all that Rowan has to offer you.
