Twenty years after Henry Rowan's historic gift we are still g’Rowan!
Rowan Boulevard, a $300 million project connecting our main campus with Glassboro’s historic downtown, is open for business. Luxury student apartments line the boulevard which features a Barnes & Noble, a gourmet burger joint, and soon much more! In Camden, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University recently welcomed its inaugural class to a new $139 million medical education building. Our Camden campus is also expanding with use of an historic and renovated 1920s bank building.
We are high tech, offering students free, unlimited access to over 150 Rowan-owned applications via the Rowan Cloud. And with a campus that is entirely wireless, you can access Rowan Cloud and the internet from anywhere, anytime, indoors or out.
We are innovators, bringing the future to South Jersey and beyond. Teams of professors and students are collaborating with government agencies, businesses and non-profits to foster learning and make a difference with cutting-edge research.

Rowan Boulevard is on the move
An ambitious, $300 million redevelopment project linking the University with Glassboro’s downtown retail district is in the works…and on the move.
Through a public/private partnership between the borough, Rowan and developers, creation of the "quintessential college town," is well underway -- one that promotes smart growth living with mixed-use buildings.
Plans call for the construction of a one-third mile corridor linking Rowan's main Glassboro campus
with downtown. Upon completion, shops and restaurants will line the street
level with housing and offices above. An apartment complex for Rowan students and
a Barnes & Noble collegiate superstore have already been built. Next on the list is a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, along with new facilities for our College of Professional and Graduate Education.
