- Rowan is... In Demand
Thinking of sending your son or daughter to Rowan?
We know your first question is probably "how am I going to pay for this." The good news is you are not alone. Many families are now faced with financial difficulties. But we're here to assure you that a variety of financial aid programs continue to be available to our students, including Rowan-funded scholarships. We are here to help you understand all the options.
Will my child find a job after graduating? While we can't guarantee jobs for every graduate, we can assure you that every student has access to our career placement networks. Whether through internships, our Career Management Center or connecting with alumni, we give students all the resources necessary to find jobs.
And despite the economy, Rowan continues to grow! After recently being designated a research university and acquiring two medical schools, Rowan is poised to have our graduates sought after by some of the most prestigious employers in the world.
Did you know...
- We were recently designated a research university, a change that will qualify Rowan for increased research dollars and spur professional degrees like pharmacy and biomedical engineering.
- Our Cooper Medical School of Rowan University accepted its inaugural class of students for the fall 2012 semester and we are acquiring the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/Stratford on July 1, 2013, a move that will make Rowan one of just two universities in the nation to have two medical programs!
- Construction of Rowan Boulevard, a $300 million public/private investment linking Rowan's main campus with historic downtown Glassboro, is well underway and features luxury student housing, a Barnes & Noble Collegiate Superstore, honors housing and dining options.
