Tara is the point person for any graphic design, print design or illustration in AT.  Formerly the Creative Director at the Courier Post, where she worked for over 13 years; Tara designed a myriad of graphics and publications and was recognized by the New Jersey Press Association for designing features, sports, 1A and special niche publications and magazines that supplemented the Courier-Post.

Tara is also an adjunct professor at Temple University teaching aspiring journalism students how to create a professional web portfolio through the use of programs such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Wordpress. Tara has a background teaching high school and college students courses in Marketing & Media and Desktop Publishing. In addition to her teaching, Tara is a freelance designer, specializing in print and web design as well as creating customized invitations for special events.

An alumnus of Rowan University, Tara was born and raised in Glassboro, NJ and currently resides there with her husband (Steve), 3 year old daughter (Gianna) and American Bulldog (Muggzy).

Kimberly is the Administrative Coordinator for RowanSOM Academic Technology and keeps all of our administrative functions running smoothly.

In addition, Kim also supports IRT End User Service's and IRT Clinical Systems on the Stratford Campus and provides all of the administrative support for the Director of IRT Clinical, Asst. Director of IRT Clinical, Asst. Director NSS, Manager/Supervisor NSS, Manager of Academic Affairs and Asst. Director for Managed Care 

Kimberly is the first line support for the campus mobile phones with Verizon Wireless and AT&T as well and the USA Mobility pager system and Arrow - Shared Solutions and Services.  Kimberly also assists on a daily basis the desktop technicians with service tickets and conflict resolution.

Kimberly assists end users with issues in the banner system on the Stratford campus and is the first line contact representative for all vendors.

After a successful career in law enforcement that spanned almost 20 years (as a correctional officer then police officer) and 13 years in the Army Reserves, he changed careers in 2000 and entered the then emerging world of the Internet to focus on web development, graphic and multimedia design. 

In 2007, Patrick transitioned into higher education as an instructional designer and now managse a very diverse and talented group of individuals that make up the Academic Technology group at the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Transitioning through LMS systems from WebCT, through several other LMS systems (Angel, Moodle & Blackboard) to the implementation of  iTunesU, computer-based exams (ExamSoft), lecture capture (Echo360), curriculum management (One45), audience response (ResponseWare) and videoconferencing (AdobeConnect, LiveCast, WebEx) among other applications and services; it has been a fun and busy 7 years for him at SOM.

In addition to his work at SOM, he is currently pursuing a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership through Creighton University.  Patrick will hopefully be defending his dissertation in the Spring of 2015.

Donna Dobie is the LSM Administrator for SOM and GSBS on the Stratford Campus. Donna provides all technical support and training for the Blackboard Learning Management Software (LMS), which houses online supplemental materials for most courses. Links to the Echo360 lecture captures are delivered via the LMS.

Donna also provides one-on-one training and general faculty development in the use of the Blackboard LMS. She also assists in the design of interactive teaching materials, and supports faculty in transforming traditional lecture material to online formats.

Donna has extensive experience with academic applications, databases and is a master of many learning management systems including Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle and Sakai among others.

Donna is a founding member of the Faculty Development and Education (FED) workgroup. The Departments of Academic Technology, the SOM Health Sciences Library, the Center for Teaching and Learning, and Academic Affairs have joined together to offer FED, a series of faculty development "lunch & learn" workshops that will address a range of academic technology topics. The goal of these workshops is to increase knowledge and awareness of technological teaching tools and provide faculty with hands-on training with these tools.

Harriet Hampton is the main contact person for Academic Technology's AV and Multimedia production offices on the second floor of SOM's Academic Center. 

Harriet facilitates services among students, faculty and staff in need of loaner AV equipment or help with multimedia projects involving photography, videography or graphics (e.g., portraits, signs, posters, etc.). 

Harriet provides assistance with document preparation, scanning, printing when needed. Harriet also does layout and text corrections, enhancements and printing of large-format research posters for students and faculty.

Harriet has also created and maintains the digital photo archives of portraits and campus event photos for various uses, including student, faculty and staff photo directories, and marketing applications.

David Ireland supports all academic applications. He is the point person for SOM ExamSoft and one45, and provides all training and advanced troubleshooting for both applications.

He also designs conceptual and technical training materials, and supports faculty in the use of academic applications within their courses and clerkships.

He is a member of the Program Evaluation and Student Assessment (PESA) committee and the Faculty Development and Education (FED) workgroup, and is the technical lead for the one45 implementation team.

Brian Monahan is the point person for Turning Technologies ResponseWare and Examsoft for GSBS.

Brian assists students, faculty and staff with a variety of academic applications such as classroom lecture capture (Echo360), audience response systems (Turning Point and ResponseWare), Videoconferencing (WebEx & LIveCast), as well as exam support and creation (ExamSoft).   Brian was formerly a member of the SOM Media department and has years of experience in multimedia and A/V support.

Brian is available for training in any of the above academic applications and creates training material as well as videos.  He is also a member of the Faculty Development and Education (FED) workgroup.

Colin O'DonnellColin O'Donnell

Colin has a BS in Media, Communications & Technology and a BA in Communication Studies from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. After interning with Bunim-Murray Productions (Real World and Road Rules) in Los Angeles, California, Colin returned home and worked as a freelance Video Editor and Producer for NJN Public Television. He then found a full-time home in the Corporate Marketing department of a global software company where his role expanded over ten years from video shooting and editing to project planning and development, managing online user experience, and content management; basically making him the main point of contact for all things multimedia within the company.

Colin can provide assistance with many types of multimedia projects. He specializes in video production and photography but also has extensive experience in screen capture demo, how to videos, and presentations.

Steve SeidlerSteve Seidler

Steve Seidler is the point of contact for video production, video streaming (via WireCast), arranging AV support for classrooms, lecture halls, and school/group events as well as multimedia projects including PowerPoint design, digital graphics/animation and video production. Steve was formerly a member of the SOM Media department and has years of experience in multimedia and A/V support.

Steve handles SOM's annual CME series which has recently started for 2014 with Dr. Joshua Coren and Michele Mesisca. The CME series is presented live and is also synchronously available online for remote participants.

Steve also has extensive knowledge in audio recording/editing and is an experienced voice-over artist.
