Vision

The student-run Camden Community Health Center (CCHC) of the Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM) strives to bridge the healthcare gap by providing compassionate, comprehensive care and health education for the underserved community of Camden, NJ through interdisciplinary collaboration while providing medical education for the students of Rowan SOM.


Mission Statement

The CCHC seeks to meet its vision through provision of free, comprehensive health care to the community of Camden, NJ. Concordantly the clinic aspires to strengthen health awareness in the community through educational initiatives while respecting cultural differences and barriers. We seek to accomplish this by managing a Saturday health clinic and working in collaboration with Rowan SOM and community agencies.

For PATIENTS:

• FREE urgent & preventative care
• Health education materials
• Referrals when necessary
• Patient advocacy

For STUDENTS:

• Early exposure to clinical medicine
• Experience a diverse patient population
• Build strong clinical skills
• Network with students & faculty
