Welcome to the site for the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). Our primary goals are to provide SOM faculty with teaching support and professional development, and SOM students with academic support, by providing guidance, resources, and services. To achieve these goals, we work directly with faculty and students on both an individual and group basis.

Jacqueline Giacobbe, MS, MA
Jackie is CTL's Director. Her primary role is to coordinate all of CTL's activities. She also has numerous other roles, including directing faculty development activities. Ms. Giacobbe received her Masters of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently seeking a PhD in Educational Psychology.
Lisa Cardello, MA, NCC
Lisa coordinates career counseling services and programming at SOM. She also provides academic advising and support to 3rd and 4th year students. Lisa holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from The College of New Jersey, as well as a National Counselor Certification. She is currently pursuing an Ed.S. Degree in Counseling Services with a concentration in Career Counseling from Rider University.
Elizabeth cronin, MA, NCCElizabeth is a Program Development Specialist. In addition to providing academic counseling and resource support to SOM students, Elizabeth also coordinates faculty development services and manages the Summer Pre-Medical Research and Education Program (Summer PREP) for under-represented and disadvantaged students from colleges and universities across New Jersey. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from TCNJ, as well as a National Counselor Certification.
ferin ford, MAFerin is a Program Development Specialist. In addition to providing resource assistance and academic support to SOM students, Ferin coordinates the Pre-Matriculation program for incoming first year students. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Rutgers University in Psychology.
