Application Checklist

  • Biomedical Sciences Program [Masters (thesis and non-thesis) and Certificate]
    • Completed application
    • Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended/attending
    • Personal statement
    • 2 Letters of recommendation on letterhead with an original signature
    • Official GRE*/MCAT/DAT
    • Official TOEFL* or IELTS** Scores (required for all international applicants)
    • Application Fee of $65.
  • Molecular Pathology and Immunology Program (Master of Science)
    • Completed application
    • Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended/attending
    • Personal statement
    • 2 Letters of recommendation on letterhead with an original signature
    • Official GRE*/MCAT/DAT
    • Application Fee of $65.
    • International students are discouraged from applying for this program unless you own an automobile and have a valid USA driver's license because the campuses for this program are separated in such a way that there is no public transportation to each location.

  • Cell and Molecular Biology Program (Master of Science)
    • Completed application
    • Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended/attending
    • Personal statement
    • 2 Letters of recommendation on letterhead with an original signature
    • Official GRE*; MCAT/DAT will not be accepted.
    • Official TOEFL* or IELTS** Scores (required for all international applicants)
    • Application Fee of $65.
  • Cell and Molecular Biology Program (Ph.D.)*** (Most decisions are made between February 1 and April 1)
    • Completed application
    • Official transcripts from ALL colleges attended/attending
    • Personal statement
    • 3 Letters of recommendation on letterhead with an original signature
    • Official GRE*; MCAT/DAT will not be accepted.
    • Official TOEFL* or IELTS** Scores (required for all international applicants)
    • Application Fee of $65.

* The Educational Testing Service (ETS) institution code for the GSBS for both the GRE and TOEFL is 2610. Please go to www.ets.org for more information about these exams.

** The International English Language Testing System. Please go to www.ielts.org for more information about this exam.

*** Please note that Admissions applications are considered on a rolling basis with first preference given to those applicants who submit their completed application by the given deadline. Any complete application received after the deadline date may be given consideration if room is available.

Once on the page, select "EducationUSA Advising Centers" on the left. The map will help you locate a Center worldwide where you can take the GRE (General test only) and the TOEFL or IELTS, both of which are required for entry into any of our programs. The network is affiliated with the U.S. Department of State so it should provide many answers to your general questions about becoming a student in the United States of America.
