My name is Peter Murphy and I am a second year medical student at UMDNJ-SOM. I love using music as a means to relax and connect with other people, whether they are musicians or not. I started playing guitar and bass in high school. Over the past two years, I began recording songs in order to listen to my progress both instrumentally and vocally. I have performed by myself and with bands. I feel there is much to be taken out of playing music with others, for others, or just by yourself.

My name is Sabrina Solorzano. I am a second year medical student at UMDNJ-SOM. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Florida (Go Gators!). During undergrad, I spent a lot of time volunteering with an Arts in Medicine program. I was impressed by how inspiring and therapeutic the arts are not only for patients, but for caregivers as well. I hope to be able to incorporate the arts in my practice as a physician. I am confident that being a part of this program will facilitate that.
