Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Program (HELP)

On this program you will be recieve sound guidance on a diet that is low in calories and nutritionally balanced. Our approach to weight management is to help you develop a better eating patterns and lifestyle so you can achieve safe and steady weight loss that you can keep off. We will:

  1. Show you how to monitor exactly how much you are consuming in a given day,
  2. Provide you with the right amount of nutrition so that you enter into a fat burning state and at the same time maintain optimum health.
  3. Help you safely break and change your current unhealthy eating patterns

The program includes one-on-one comprehensive lifestyle education as well as exercise and counseling to help you lose weight, improve your health, and develop the new skills and habits you need to manage your weight in the future.

Along with this dietary and behavioral care, if warranted, you may recieve an FDA-approved appetite suppressant medication, to help curb your appetite and help you feel satisfied more quickly. Dr. Gupta will work with you one-on-one to determine appropriate dosage and help you learn how to eat nutritiously balanced meals to help you burn fat.

This program includes:

This program is a 6 month program. First 3 visits are 2 weeks apart and then you will have monthly visits. Typical weight loss - 1 to 2 lbs per week*.

Trim & Tone (TNT) Program

Have you been trying to lose that last stubborn 10-15 pounds for as long as you can remember? This program is for you. You can look toned and trimmed in about 6 weeks with this program.

On this program you will be prescribed specially formulated nutritional supplements (as a meal replacement) for purchase. These supplements have a high protein content and are fortified with vitamins & minerals. This program is specially created to overcome the abnormally slow metabolism of obese patient and for lower BMI patient who are looking to shed a 10-15 lbs.

Additionally, the program includes one-on-one comprehensive lifestyle education as well as exercise and counseling to help you lose weight, improve your health, and develop new skills/habits necessary to manage your weight in the future.

This program includes:

  1. Inidividual consultation with a physician at each visit
  2. Body Composition Analysis at each visit
  3. Individualized dietary recommendations
  4. Individualized exercise recommendations

  6. Stress Management Tips

This program is a 6-week program followed by recommended 6 weeks of Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Program (HELP). Without a healthy lifestyle it is difficult to maintain the lost weight. Typical weight loss - 2 to 4 lbs per week*.

Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) Program

As part of this program you will be prescribed specially formulated nutritional supplements (as a meal replacement) for purchase. These supplements have a high protein content and are fortified with vitamins & minerals. This program is intensive and so the patient will be monitored by a bariatric (medical weight loss expert) physician.

Additionally, the program includes one-on-one comprehensive lifestyle education as well as exercise and counseling to help you lose weight, improve your health, and develop the new skills and habits you need to manage your weight in the future.

This program includes:

  1. Inidividual consultation with a physician at each visit
  2. Body Composition Analysis at each visit
  3. Individualized dietary recommendations
  4. Individualized exercise recommendations
  5. Behavior Modification Tips
  6. Stress Management Tips
  7. Improving Sleep Tips
  8. Your personal Healthy Lifestyle guidebook
  9. NutriMed Diet Supplement (for purchase)

You will need to get a periodic blood test and EKG done depending on amount of weight loss you have achieved.

This program is a 12-week program. Typical weight loss - 3 to 5 lbs per week*.
