About the Program

Goals of Program

  • To offer academic support in a variety of subjects in order to improve educational achievement.
  • To enhance self-image through a caring, positive, non-judgmental attitude and to provide opportunities for success.
  • To widen horizons through sharing of personal and academic survival skills and experiences.
  • To help resolve the problems that caused the student to seek help and to work towards making the student a more independent learner.

Description of program

Tutoring is available free of charge to all Rowan University students. Tutorial Services provides small-group, or drop-in tutoring in most subject areas. Students may self schedule tutoring appointments by using RSN (Rowan Success Network).

Other Services

Workshops on learning strategies and effective study techniques are presented at various times throughout the academic year. Students may also request individual consultation regarding learning strategies.
