Tutoring is free for Rowan students and the Rowan Success Network (RSN) gives you an easy way to schedule tutoring appointments. You have to “enable cookies” on your computer to use this program. The Starfish system requires that you accept browser cookies. Please enable cookies or switch to a browser that supports cookies. If you have cookies enabled but continue to see a page indicating you need to enable cookies, your browser settings may prevent Starfish from setting cookies. You need to switch browsers.For help resolving this issue,view the help link on the page.

Get to the RSN by going to www.rowan.edu/rsn. Log-in and view your Home page. On the right you will see a list of courses you are presently registered for, and there will be a link…  see available appointments…  if tutoring is available for the course. Click on the available appointments link, and use the mini calendar located on the top left of the page to find the day you want to schedule an appointment. Click on the desired day to view the available appointments. Click on the desired appointment then click on Next at the bottom of the page.  The next page will display the tutor’s name day and time of appointment … click on Schedule at the bottom of the page to finalize the appointment. You will receive an email reminder of your scheduled appointment. You can schedule tutoring appointments whenever necessary.

If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, find the appointment on your Upcoming Appointments list on the left side of your Home page in RSN. Click on the icon at the beginning of the line. This will bring up a menu that will allow you to cancel or edit the appointment. Cancellations should be made at least one hour prior to the scheduled tutoring session. It will be noted in RSN whenever an appointment has been made and the student fails to attend. 

If tutoring is not available for your particular course then please contact tutoringcenter@rowan.edu with your name, email address, name of course and your available     hours for tutoring. We will try to accommodate your request.
