Off-Campus Federal Work Study
The Federal Off-Campus Work-Study program (FWS) provides students with paid, career-related work experience.  Students receiving federal funds as part of their financial aid package may apply and work for approved non-profit, government or school locations off campus.  For an off campus agency or organization to qualify for participation in this program, the organization must be engaged in work that is considered community service, meaningful and career exploratory in nature.  Students that meet the selection criteria will select a placement that meets his/her interests and needs and will work on a part-time basis during the semester with the option to work full-time hours during holidays and semester breaks. Employers who wish to apply should contact Ruben Britt, Jr. at (856)256-4254 or britt@rowan.edu.
