Parent and Family Checklist

Welcome to the Rowan University family!

We are glad that your student has decided to attend Rowan University. Your family probably has many things on your mind. To assist you during this exciting time we hope the following checklist will help you stay organized. Each checklist item is important to your student's successful transition to college life. Please read and complete each item with attention to the given dates, and please contact the appropriate departments if you have any questions. The "Printable Checklist" will help you to track your progress.

Take the Learning Connections Inventory (LCI)
You are invited to take Learning Connections Inventory (LCI), a learning pattern inventory that your son or daughter took as part of the placement testing experience.

Important dates for future terms:

SPRING 2011
Jan. 1st : Earliest date to file a FAFSA for the academic year 2011/2012
March 15th : Suggested date to have your FAFSA on file
May 1st : Submission of Enrollment Confirmation form and Deposit
Apply for housing and submit housing deposit
 
SUMMER 2011
June 2nd : Familiarize yourself with rowan student self service
July 15th : Health Forms Due (physical exam by MD/NP and immunizations)
Welcome Weekend: Aug 29th -30th
 
FALL 2011
January 1st : Earliest date to file a FAFSA for the academic year 2012/2013
