I love to go to the gym, play softball, and volleyball, rock out to music, read and play video games. I'd rather be doing something than nothing so I'm usually down for anything. Career Aspirations:
After graduation, I hope to return to Lenape, my high school, and teach English there. I would also like to teach in at least one mentally challenged classroom. Best Advice for New Students:
Learn to balance your social life with you class work. Two words: time management. It will take away a lot of unnecessary stress. Also, be sure to get involved. It will make the difference between loving your college experience and hating it. And never forget, you're not alone. If you need someone to listen, you'll find someone to listen. Just take a deep breath and realize you're living the best years of your life and it's finally your chance to make it everything you want it to be. My Favorite Inspirational Quote, Phrase or Advice:
"Good, better, best. Don't let it rest until the good gets better and the better gets best." ~My Grandmom H. This is important to me because I heard it from my Grandmother since I was little. She was a big part of my life and this quote became my life. I never give up no matter what. When I feel like I can't deal with something anymore I hear my Grandmom saying these words to me and I find the strength to get through. She has since passed but I know if she were here the one thing she would be sure to tell me is that quote. It's made me become everything I am today and it brings me back to my advice on getting involved. Rowan won't be the best until you make it the best. Stand up and make a difference. You'll be glad you did. ![]() |
