PRIDE month is a celebration of “community” at Rowan University and the diverse and unique individuals that create it. April is a University-wide effort to create opportunities for students, staff, faculty, and administrators to reflect on the importance, impact, and power of difference on our campus. The mission of PRIDE month is to challenge individuals to take pride in who they are and who they love and provide a safe and open environment to share and learn from each other. Members of the University community are both educators and learners with commitment to making Rowan University a community that promotes and fosters multiculturalism including aspects of race, class, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, language, religion and spirituality, disability, age, thought, and national identity.
