Hometown: Mahwah, NJ
Campus Involvement: RA Rowan Boulevard, President of Society of Automotive Engineers, Events Chars IEEE, Member of R.E.A.L.
What is your favorite Rowan memory?
My favorite Rowan memory so far is going to Quebec City, Canada. I went with Engineers in SAE, and we met 20 other Canadian teams. We raced Baja cards on their homemade track and learned a lot of new things. Just seeing the huge diversity was so inspiring. The French teams were very kind and inviting and I cannot wait to return next year with my club!
What has been the most effective way for you to meet new people?
Joining clubs and doing intramurals has made me meet 80% of the people I know here. Even joining intramurals alone and being a free-agent sets you up to meet people with similar interests. Also, join any club whether it is your major or not! If it interests you go for it!
What advice would you give to the class of 2016?
Always be yourself, act as involved as you can and don’t put academics on the back burner.

What is your favorite Rowan memory?
I don’t really have one specific memory, but any time I am able to spend with friends on campus is valuable to me. Since I started commuting from home, it’s been harder for me to keep up with people, so seeing my friends every now and then has kept me sane.
What has been the most effective way for you to meet new people?
I’m a more reserved and private type of person (almost to a fault, at times), but I try my best to connect to other people, whether we have anything in common or not. I may not always be the most talkative person in a room, but I know how and when to make an impression on people.
What advice would you give to the class of 2016?
Relax, be patient, and enjoy yourself. There’s no good in stressing yourself out about the minor obstacles in your life. Focus on the things that make you happy, and maintain a cool and level head in the face of adversity. You’ll be better off that way.
