About Us

The Office of Orientation and Student Leadership Programs (OSLP) serves to enhance the experience of undergraduate students by facilitating programs and services to assist in the ongoing processes of transition and leadership development. We introduce students to the opportunities to make the most of their Rowan education, and provide a capstone to students' co-curricular learning and development through leadership certification.

Drew Tinnin
Senior Director
 
Drew is the primary contact for University faculty and staff assisting with orientation programs, the Student Life Programming Council, and office management.
Gary Baker
Assistant Director, Leadership Rowan/Student Government Association adviser
 
Contact for students, faculty, and staff interested in Leadership Rowan, as well as student organization advisors. Supervises the Leadership Mentor and SGA staffs.
Nikki Colasanti
Office Administrator
 
The OSLP Office Administrator is the primary contact for orientation reservations, and manages the departmental budget accounts and student staff payroll.
Terri Sabatini
Student Government Association Office Administrator
 
Terri coordinates the daily operations of the Student Government Association Office (Chamberlain Student Center 120), oversees student organization financial matters and fundraising in conjunction with student leaders in over 160 organizations, and schedules appointments with SGA student leaders and lawyer.
Brigid Rafferty
Student Government Association Transportation Coordinator
 
Brigid coordinates reservations for the SGA busses and vans, bills student organizations and departments for transportation services, and supervises the bus driver staff.
Stephanie Ackerman
Graduate Coordinator, PROS
 
Stephanie supports students enrolled in online orientation programs, the Peer Referral and Orientation Staff, and department social media accounts.
Teague Brody-Carney
Graduate Coordinator, Leadership Rowan
 
Teague assists with the Freshman Leadership Involvement Program, maintains student leadership achievement records, and meets with students to review leadership achievements.
Stephanie Reiley
Graduate Intern
 
Stephanie assists with office events and research supporting University Transfer Services.

Schedule a Meeting

Current Rowan students can schedule an appointment with OSLP staff to discuss their leadership achievements and other topics using the Rowan Success Network [Log in first here if you are not already].

To meet with any available staff member (Leadership Rowan portfolio review, etc.):

  • Log in
  • Click on Services at the top
  • Scroll down to Orientation & Student Leadership Programs
  • Click Schedule Online under our office description
  • Click an available meeting day (bold on the calendar), then Sign Up for a time that works for you
  • An Appointment details box will appear, please select General Advising Visit as the Reason and a Duration of your choice
  • Please enter a Detailed Description of what you would like to meet about (such as Leadership Rowan portfolio review), then click Next
  • The next Appointment screen will list the staff member you will be meeting With, click Schedule to confirm

To select specific staff member:

  • Log in
  • Click on Services at the top
  • Scroll down to Orientation & Student Leadership Programs and click that link
  • Under Service Members, find the staff member's name and click Schedule Online
  • Click an available meeting day (bold on the calendar), then Sign Up for a time that works for you
  • An Appointment details box will appear, please select General Advising Visit or General visit / class follow up as the Reason and a Duration of your choice
  • Please enter a Detailed Description of what you would like to meet about (such as Leadership Rowan portfolio review), then click Submit to confirm

These are firm appointments once created (you do not have to wait for a confirmation from the staff member), so please be on time.
