Preserve Resources

Orientation and Student Leadership Programs (OSLP) is committed to preserving resources when developing and conducting our many programs and services.

Ongoing Commitments

OSLP reduces paper by communicating with parents and students via e-mail whenever possible. Pieces that are mailed are generally self-mailers, reducing the need for a seperate envelope.

OSLP reuses paper in the office by using the blank side of a previously single-sided printed document for notes and internal print jobs before recyling it.

Specific Progammatic Initiatives

The following program components were specifically selected to preserve resources:

• OSLP stationery is printed on Cougar white FSC/SFI Certified, acid-free, elemental & process chlorine free paper with a minimum 10% post-consumer recylced content
• OSLP staff polo shirts are Anvil Organic®, 100% organic (Oeko-Tex® certified) cotton
• OSLP staff hooded sweatshirts are Anvil Sustainable™ 55% certified organic cotton, 45% post-consumer P.E.T. recycled polyester
