Care Packages and Gift Cards

There is no greater feeling for students, than to look in their mailbox and see that slip of paper that says they have a package waiting for them. Students everywhere love to get boxes of food and other supplies from their family.

Alumni Association Care Package

Little things mean a lot! Rowan University Alumni Association provides a variety of Care Packages for parents and family members to send to their student as expression of support, appreciation, and caring. Here are some items that parents and family members may send to their student with a personal handwritten note:

• The Welcome Package arrives just after school begins, loaded with energy boosting snacks and easy meal substitutions for late wake ups or working through lunch or dinner.
• The Valentine Surprise will boost your student with a traditional heart-shaped box of chocolates, Hershey’s Kissables, an inflatable “I Love You” heart, a fun box of those tiny Conversations Hearts and lots more.
• The Move-In Mug serves a generous mixture of coffees, teas, cocoa and cold drinks designed to keep students alert during long nights with the books.
• The Good Luck Pizza Card get your student a Free Medium Pizza with each large pie purchased at Domino’s near campus. Good for over 15 pizzas in a year.

The Care Packages will be available for pick up during the first week of classes. Your student will need to pick up his or her package at the Alumni House on campus.

Alumni Association “Rowan University Student Advantage Card”

Parents and family members may surprise their student with a Rowan University Student Advantage Card that will save them money on travel, textbooks, software and clothing with merchants like Amtrak, Barnes & Nobles.com, Greyhound, Foot Locker, Target.com and Urban Outfitters. With the Student Advantage discounts of up to 50% at more than 15, 000 locations, this is a must have for any college student.

Final Exams Care Package

Study! Study! Study! This final exams care package gives students the extra boost they may need to beat final exam stress and to know you are thinking about them. A collaborative partnership with our Residential Learning and University Housing Office and On Campus Marketing, offers parents and family members a variety of food packages that will be sent to their students with special personalized messages during this important time of the year. A mid-semester mailing will be sent to your home regarding this unique opportunity to support and encourage your student.

Gift and Care Package Available Through Sodexho

Our food service provider Sodexho has care packages available for you to purchase online, so you don't have to mail food all the way from home.

Live, Learn and Play Gift Card

Help your student maintain a balanced mind and body. Purchase a Rowan University Rec Center gift card that will afford your son or daughter the opportunity to receive personal training sessions, work with a nutrition consultant, and participate in a myriad of fitness classes and intramural sports. This is a perfect gift for all occasions…and just might be the energy boost your student needs especially during midterms and finals!
